Welcome to Ginga FC, a fanclub for the series Ginga Densetsu Riki, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, and Ginga Densetsu Weed.


If you are interested in joining, please read the rules. We're always happy to welcome more dogs!

RULES

This club is for fans of the dog manga written by Yoshihiro Takahashi.

SUBMISSIONS

To Submit art related to the Gingas or ginga dogs, send a note to the club entitled "Art Submission" with a link to the original deviation.

If there is a contest going on, please do the same, but title your note "Contest Submission".


Character Claims

Each member is invited to 'claim' a character, a trend that the club introduced right from the start.
If we were more active, this character could be used in club roleplay or as part of contest submissions. As it stands, it's just an accessory.

On the Members List, each member has their character listed beside their icon, with a denoting a made-up or original character.
You may claim characters from any of the series, however overlapping characters can only be claimed once (i.e. only one person is "Jerome")
You may, however, use a character that you made up yourself.

Include this in the note to the club, or comment on the club page at any time to inquire about the character you would like to claim.

You're welcome to enter the chat at any time. It has been inactive from the start but if members want to reinstate it we're always willing to have a go.



Masters
The "Masters" ranked members are the moderators. If you're interested in becoming a Master, please note the club or comment on its journal. This club doesn't take much help to run, and despite the fact that we actually do very little, member requests tend to trickle in now and then.
A Master recieves the password to the club account, and is expected to log on every once in a while, add members to the List, etc.
We're currently looking for new Masters. If you're interested, let us know!

THIRD GINGAFC CONTEST

The new contest is an almost revival of the last one, Winter Cheer. It is called, Winter Struggle and focuses on battling the elements.

We've come around, one more year, and this time we're ready to fight on together. Don't lie down in the snow and give up.

Submit a piece involving the Ginga characters or your own OC, fighting for survival in the harsh weather. The prize this time is a real life three month subscription, so start working on your entries! The deadline is January 5th, so you have some time to work.

If you do not have a dog yet you must register a dog before entering the contest. Made-up characters are accepted as club characters!

Made-up characters are allowed (Everyone fights for survival together.)

I abandoned you again! I'm sorry. ): Does anyone feel seriously about taking a master position? Anyway, happy new years!




Christmastide, Hannukah, the New (Roman?) Year and a number of other wintry holidays are nearly upon us, and I'd like to extend good cheer to all members of Gingafc!
The new Contest is, of course, Winter Cheer!
Draw your own dog, or others, frolicking in the snow, lighting candles, eating cookies, or popping out of present packages. Be creative, have fun. This time I really will enter.
Just as a reminder to everyone, cast your votes because they'll be closing soon!

3 new entries. Contest ends January 14th, 2007.


I would also like to address another small matter. I have less and less time online, and I feel very bad about not being able to support the club as I should. If you applied for a Master position, back in late August, and you are still willing to lend a hand, please note the club. We need all the help we can get, and my computer still won't allow me to submit club art.

Looking For Opinions: A club roleplay? Yea or Nay? Express your opinions by commenting on the journal. This idea was suggested by a member.
An almost unanimous Yea! The roleplay will begin during late December (When most of the schoolkids will be able to participate.)

Sorry I haven't been updating! I've had some hectic time, and Rocky's been like an angel, with a little help and update. And Mutt will soon.
